Founded in 2015, Alphawave assists its clients in their data-oriented projects with our solution OSIRIS Enterprise, mainly focused on data quality and use.
The OSIRIS Enterprise platform is a versatile RPA (Robotic Process Automation) solution. It provides many different services from beginning of the data value chain by supporting its users to standardize and store data from various sources.
On the one hand, actuaries can exploit these data to monitor risks, price contracts and model insurance liabilities. On the other hand, accountants can book their figures and fill in regulatory reports with a complete audit trail.

Sébastien POTHERAT - Founder
« As a financial and statistical expert, I worked for twelve years in the financial departments of two major players in the life and health insurance industry. During these two experiences, I participated in strategic projects in financial modelling, ALM and risk management (Solvency 2).
The opportunities offered by new technological and my strong interest for quantitative techniques convinced me that it was possible to provide different modeling and automation solutions.
Driven by the desire to create my own business, I founded Alphawave in 2015 after more than a year of development on a beta version of Osiris (thick client). In 2016, we released the SaaS version of Osiris Enterprise, which we continued to develop in parallel with consulting missions. This work led to a deployment at our first client in 2017.

« Fellow of the french Institute of Actuaries, I worked for ten years in financial departments in the insurance industry.
Spontaneously interested in modeling subjects, my professional experiences have oriented me towards transversal projects around data: first with one of the major players in life and health insurance in France, then in the french branch of a leading international reinsurer.
As team manager of the Valuation and Modeling department, I notably managed projects to automate closing, modeling and data integration processes, before committing myself to the Alphawave adventure by October 2019 to bring adapted solutions on these subjects to companies in the insurance and financial sector. »
